I was a teacher's assistant in grade 2 and 3 while our son was
completing his education in these two grades. My duties
included assisting children in their reading,
individually and in their groups, assisted with slower
learners in their reading
comprehension, helped the teacher with arts, crafts,
and games, and assisted on school
field trips.
Tutored children in reading and writing
I did private tutoring for grade 4 students to assist
them with their reading and writing, and mathematical
skills. Our son was in grade 4 at the time, and his
teacher asked for assistance in doing individual tutoring,
on a one to one basis, with some of the students in the grade 4 classes.
